# GPU Contribution Program

To meet the demands of AI training, the requisite graphics processing units (GPUs) typically encompass models from the NVDA 3xxx or 4xxx series for Windows platforms and M2 Max or M3 chips for MacOS. This specification requirement results in a constrained supply of these high-end configurations, while less powerful alternatives remain abundantly available. In response to this disparity, Navy AI has initiated the GPU Contribution Program. This innovative program is specifically designed for individuals whose GPU configurations may not meet the highest standards but who are nonetheless eager to support the computational demands of training contemporary large language models.

Participants are invited to submit their GPU specifications via our website interface. Our system will detect your confirguration includes IP Address, graphic card, ect. Our engineering team will then synergize these resources, effectively aggregating them to achieve a computational capability that aligns with the requirements for current, high-demand AI training tasks. This approach not only optimizes the use of available resources but also inclusively broadens the scope of community contribution to AI development.
